Russian warships dock in Venezuela
A FLOTILLA of Russian warships arrived in Venezuela yesterday to conduct joint naval exercises, another step in president Hugo Chavez's effort to strengthen an alliance with Moscow.
Russia is seeking to boost its influence in the western hemisphere, taking advantage of anti-Washington sentiment in Latin America.
