Russia talks are welcomed

The call to revive the Russian conversation is to be welcomed (your report, 18 September). As agenda items, the need to respect the rights of small nations could be included, as could the crucial need for large nations to work to reduce emissions.

In order to keep the conversation going, maybe the United States could take part. Through such discussions a better world can be secured for all.
