Vital penguin purchase

Car giant Citroen has donated a vehicle to Edinburgh Zoo to raffle off to raise crucial funds for its new Penguins Rock enclosure.

Raffle tickets cost just £1 and can be purchased in person at the zoo or via text message – text “zoocar” to 82055 (£1 plus standard network charge).

Perhaps a similar reward on offer to the zoo’s “first panda couple to mate” might get some wheels turning for them, too.
