Runners keep their cool to beat freeze
HUNDREDS of youngsters set the scene for Saturday's Bupa Great Winter Run in Edinburgh.
Once they had taken part in their challenge across a freezing Holyrood Park, more than 2000 runners followed in the main event.
Organisers switched Saturday's run to the contingency 5km course as a result of snowfall. The day's main attraction was athlete Mo Farah as he captained Great Britain to victory in the team race.
