Stuart to tell of adventures

The first physically disabled rower to complete a solo ocean crossing is to give a talk in the Capital on his experiences.

Stuart Boreham was born with cerebral palsy, but he has taken part in such adventures as a round-the-world yacht race and driving a lawnmower from John O'Groats to Land's End, as well as completing his epic solo rowing trip across the Atlantic.

The event, which takes place on Wednesday, October 20, in Appleton Tower, is part of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society's Inspiring People 2010-11 talks programme.
