Child porn man jailed

A MAN caught with almost a thousand images of children involved in sex acts has been jailed for four years.

Kenneth Reid had downloaded 849 obscene images and 38 pornographic movies.

They included depictions of sexual acts involving girls aged between six months and 15 years, and some of the stronger images showed young girls in bondage scenes.

Reid, 48, of Whitburn, West Lothian, also exchanged the child porn with other perverts online, a police investigation found.

He appeared for sentence at Livingston Sheriff Court yesterday after previously pleading guilty to possessing and distributing the disgusting images at his former home in Livingston, West Lothian. He was placed on the sex offenders register for ten years.
