Romney backs McCain campaign
FORMER Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney yesterday gave his backing to his erstwhile rival, John McCain.
Mr Romney released the 288 delegates he won during the primary elections and urged them to support Mr McCain.
The former Massachusetts governor dropped out of the White House race last week.
