Road rage hits half of drivers

NEARLY half of drivers in Scotland have suffered from a road rage incident in the past year, a Scottish Government survey showed yesterday. The poll also found that one in four victims feared for their safety.

The Scottish Household Survey showed most of the 44 per cent of affected drivers had suffered one or two incidents.

The survey, which covered 15,500 homes, also found 55 per cent of those polled were concerned about increased road traffic, with 45 per cent concerned about their journey times being lengthened and a third worried about damage to the environment.
