Richey set to marry ex-wife in Scotland

FORMER Death Row inmate Kenny Richey is set to return to Scotland from the United States to re-marry his ex-wife – and he plans to bring his son with him.

Richey said he wanted to marry former wife Wendy Amerud in a traditional ceremony but was undecided whether they would settle permanently.

But the 45-year-old will have to wait until at least the new year to travel back to Scotland as his son Sean, 23, is currently wearing an electronic tag.

His son was released from jail earlier this month after being held over nine charges, including assault, after being turned in by Ms Amerud who accused him of stealing cheques.

Richey, his ex-wife and son are living in her home in Minnesota.

The former Marine said: "Wendy and I are planning to get married when we come back. We'd love a traditional wedding in a big castle.

"I also want Sean to see where I grew up."
