Revellers get T in Park off on right note
DAY two of T in the Park kicked off this afternoon with over 85,000 fans hitting the festival site to see home-grown Scottish talent from The Fratellis to veteran rock-chick Sharleen Spiteri.
Yesterday's opener got off to a roaring start with KT Tunstall entertaining the crowd with songs from her albums Eye to the Telescope and Drastic Fantastic.
Emergency services had relatively little to do on the first day, with police reporting only two arrests and ambulance staff with just over 100 people requiring first aid or minor medical assistance.
Event manager Colin Rodger said: "Fans have been heeding the traffic advice and arriving on site early, and so far the traffic management plan has been operating exactly as we thought it would."
