Retailer brings bargains for the home to town in £500k deal
RETAILER Home Bargains is set to open a new store in the Lothians after investing £500,000.
The new store in Bathgate will bring 40 new jobs to the area.
The shop, in the old Aldi store on Whitburn Road, opens on Saturday
The chain plans to open five new stores across Scotland.
Joe Morris, operations director at Home Bargains, said: "Home Bargains is excited to be opening this new store in Bathgate, bringing with it 40 top-quality jobs.
"We're thrilled to be in a position to offer local people top-branded goods at exceptionally low prices. Bathgate is one of approximately 30 new stores we will be opening in the next six months."
The company has more than 170 stores across the UK.
