Residents not joining events
MORE than two in every three people in the Capital say they did not attend any of the events that were part of Edinburgh's Christmas celebrations.
A council poll found that 70 per cent of the 354 respondents did not intend to attend any events. Only 14 per cent said they were planning to attend, while another 14 per cent answered that they may attend.
The Evening News revealed yesterday that the 'winter festivals' are facing their fourth successive year of losses.
