Renewable energy exhibition in line to break records for visitors and exhibitors
BRITAIN'S biggest renewable energy exhibition and conference is set to break visitor and exhibitor records when it opens in Aberdeen this month.
The All Energy 09 exhibition, which will showcase the latest innovations in wind, wave and tidal power, will open at the city's exhibition and conference centre on 20 May.
This year's show will feature the largest exhibition ever staged at All Energy, with more than 360 exhibitors from 13 countries in the two halls.
More than 4,500 visitors from home and overseas have already registered to attend – a record figure.
Judith Patten, a spokeswoman for Media Generation Events, one of the show's main organisers, said: "We look well set for success at this, the ninth annual All-Energy. We expect both the exhibition and conference to be really busy."
The conference section of All Energy will begin with a session at which the speakers will include Ed Miliband, the Secretary of State at the Department of Energy and Climate Change, and Jim Mather, Scotland's minister for Enterprise and Energy.
