Race attack police hunt trio

POLICE have released CCTV images of three men they want to speak to in connection with a "nasty" racist attack in the city.

The 26-year-old Asian victim suffered a fractured jaw and required hospital surgery after the assault.

He had just left El Barrio nightclub, on Rose Street, with a group of friends at around 3am on December 16.

A separate group, who had also been in the club, began abusing the man and then attacked him in South Charlotte Street, near the Dunfermline Building Society.

Police today released CCTV images of three men they want to talk to in connection with the incident.

They are described as being 22 to 24 years, of average height and slim build, and had local accents.

The first is bald, and was wearing a long-sleeved shirt, while the second man is described as having short cropped brown hair, and was wearing a black jacket with stripes on each arm.

The third man had shoulder-length dark hair, and was wearing a white shirt with vertical stripes.
