Pupils help get across Saint's day message
CULTURE minister Mike Russell joined pupils from Dalry Primary School yesterday to promote the Capital's St Andrew's Day celebrations.
Pupils Darek Nowicki, Abby Walker, Sean Greenan, Eganda Silva, Simran Babrah, Bethany Sawyer, Szabina Eros and Franklin Adeyokum had their faces painted with the Saltire to help launch a programme of St Andrew's Day events which will be the biggest ever.
The city's St Andrew's Day programme will centre on St Andrew's Square Gardens, which will host a family festival on 28 and 29 November.
