Pupils enjoy pyjamas day for Sick Kids
A THOUSAND primary pupils at George Watson's College and their teachers wore pyjamas to school to raise money for the new Sick Kids hospital.
The money is still being counted but already well over 1000 has been generated for the New Pyjamas Campaign.
It was an impressive sight as every pupil from the nursery to primary school swapped their uniforms for pyjamas, and even the teachers joined in.
Elaine McGonigle, director of the campaign, said: "The sight of 1000 school kids, and their teachers, in their jammies in support of the new pyjamas campaign is the best way I can think of to brighten up an Autumn day.
"I believe they may have established a fashion challenge to be taken up by others."
