Pub shooting leaves one man dead, one injured
A man was killed and another seriously injured in a double shooting outside a pub, police said today.
The victims, both aged 42, were targeted at the Waldorf bar in Glasgow city centre last night.
They were taken to hospital where one of the men died. The other was said to be in a serious condition.
Officers were called to the pub following reports of a disturbance in Cambridge Street at 10.25pm.
Cambridge Street was closed between Renfrew Street and Cowcaddens Road as police forensic teams examined the scene.
The pub is near Sauchiehall Street on the edge of the Garnethill area and is opposite the Thistle Hotel.
A Strathclyde Police spokeswoman said the circumstances of the shooting were still being established.
