Protesters chip in to golf row
COMMUNITY councillors have met with local residents to hear their concerns about a proposed golf and leisure development.
Householders from Redside Steading, East Lothian, are against the Whitekirk Golf and Country Club project on environmental grounds. It will see a new hotel, 21 holiday lodges, 42 houses and an additional golf course built.
North Berwick community council is to discuss the development at a monthly meeting tonight, when members should conclude whether or not they back the planning application.
