Protecting our wildlife

The growing development of wildlife tourism in Scotland (your report, 27 October) is much to be welcomed. From exploration of nature's beauty a new concern for the environment can be created.

However, we must ensure that such a boost to the economy and to the interest in our creatures is sustainably maintained to ensure their existence for many generations to come.
