Promise backfires after lottery win

A MAN who promised to buy his son a toy shop if he won the lottery had to backtrack when he scooped more than £1 million. Mark Myatt and wife Trina, from Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, instead took sons Alexander, eight, and Oliver, three, on a toy shopping spree.

Mr Myatt, 39, said: "I did a bit of backtracking."
