Praise for ski centre move
A LOTHIAN MSP has praised Midlothian Council for deciding to keep Hillend Ski Centre open.
Dr Ian McKee has now urged a council representative to attend a meeting with constituents in the Scottish Parliament on September 16.
He said: "This is only the beginning. If Hillend is to survive in the long run everyone needs to get involved.
"There are so many people interested in keeping Hillend alive so I've called a meeting to discuss ways we can make the centre more financially sustainable. Now that Midlothian Council has reached its decision, I would like to invite a representative to discuss issues and ideas with constituents."
