Pottery throws cash at event

A POTTERY studio in the Capital is set to host a fundraising event as part of a charity drive which has drawn support from stars including Lorraine Kelly, Robbie Coltrane, Arsene Wenger and Terry Gilliam.

Doodles Ceramic Workshop in Marchmont Crescent will donate 1 for every customer who visits on Friday, National Doodle Day.

All the money raised goes towards the Neurofibromatosis Association and Epilepsy Action.

An array of celebrities have submitted doodles to be auctioned off on eBay for the charity.

Roberta Tweedy, of The Neurofibromatosis Association, said: "This year’s event will help to raise vital funds and increase awareness of two little-known conditions."
