A CRACKDOWN on drug dealing has seen a string of police raids take place in a Lothians town.
Officers conducted the blitz in Prestonpans, East Lothian, as part of Operation Ergot after a series of tip-offs.
A 36-year-old man was charged after cannabis was recovered from a home in North Bank Road on February 18.
Police also seized a quantity of cannabis from an address in Prestongrange Terrace two days later.
An 18-year-old man was charged with drug offences. More than 1000 counterfeit DVDs and a four-figure sum of cash were also seized.
A 37-year-old man was charged with the illegal possession of prescription medication following a search in the High Street.
