Poster drive wins award at conference

A DRIVE to convince frail and elderly people that life can still be meaningful has scooped an award.

The poster campaign by occupational therapists stressed that even if someone is subject to continuing care, achievements can still be made. It won the runner-up prize at the NHS Lothian Best Practice conference.

Occupational therapist Karen Buchan said: "Our role is to consider ability to perform activities and roles of daily living."
