Port anchors festival backer
FORTH Ports has been announced as the main sponsor of the Leith Festival for the second year.
The firm, which is behind the massive regeneration of Leith Docks, will provide a major financial boost for the festival.
One of Scotland's largest community events, it will see a range of gigs, theatre productions and other events from May 30 to June 8.
Councillor Gordon Munro has also been announced as the festival's new chairman.
Cllr Munro said: "We are grateful to Forth Ports for agreeing to be the main sponsor of this year's festival."
