Wave machine gets send-off
FIRST Minister Alex Salmond was today launching a pioneering green-energy wave machine at Leith docks.
After the ceremony, E.ON's Pelamis P2 wave energy converter will be taken to the European Marine Energy Centre in Orkney for testing.
It will be the first time the P2 device has been tested anywhere in the world.
