Talks look at devolution

SENIOR politicians will give their assessment of a decade of devolution at a conference in the Capital tomorrow.

Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, Labour's Iain Gray, Liberal Democrat Tavish Scott and Tory Annabel Goldie are due to take part.

The conference, Ten Years of the Scottish Parliament: Achievements and Futures, is at Our Dynamic Earth in Holyrood Road and has been organised by Edinburgh University's Institute of Governance in association with the Hansard Society.

Professor Charlie Jeffery, of the university's school of social and political science, said: "This milestone of the Scottish Parliament's tenth anniversary year is an ideal time to reflect on its past, present and future."
