Information Commissioners in both Scotland and England have been urged to intervene in a bid to force the UK Government to reveal details of unpublished polling on attitudes to Scottish independence.

Meanwhile, the Scottish Government’s plans for pensions in an independent Scotland have been described as the “biggest mis-selling scandal in history” by the chairman of the Scottish Affairs Committee and a group of Scottish independence supporters have shown their backing for the ‘Yes’ campaign – by carving a 25-metre-high ‘Yes’ in a hillside.
