MP is ‘eyes and ears’ for Curran

LIVINGSTON MP Graeme Morrice has been made parliamentary aide to Labour’s shadow Scottish secretary, Margaret Curran.

The unpaid appointment as parliamentary private secretary makes him Ms Curran’s “eyes and ears” in the House of Commons.

He was previously PPS to John Denham when he was shadow business secretary.

Mr Morrice said: “I will use my experience to help the Labour team scrutinise the SNP’s plans.”
