Andrew Tate: What is in the court prosecution papers? Graphic details surrounding social media influencer revealed

A pre-trial involving social media influencer Andrew Tate is set to be held later this month

Graphic details of the charges against social media influencer Andrew Tate have emerged, ahead of a pre-trial hearing in Romania later this month.

In a case file summary of hundreds of pages of testimony and transcripts, seen by the BBC, women who lived in a building near Mr Tate’s house in the Romanian capital, Bucharest, allege that income from their online pornographic content was controlled by the defendants, along with some accounts and passwords.

Other claims allege violence towards women during sex. Transcripts of messages claim Tate told one woman “you will do as I say”, when she said she did not want to take part in group sex with other women.

Romania's Organised Crime Unit formally charged the Tate brothers in June, along with two Romanian women, with human trafficking and forming an organised crime group.

According to a statement released at the time, the prosecutors said there were seven female alleged victims, including some who were “misled” by “false claims of marriage and love”.

The brothers, who are both dual UK-US nationals, have denied all charges, claiming the allegations stem from jealousy. They were under house arrest for months during a police investigation.

The prosecutors' file also contains what is claimed to be transcriptions of audio messages from 2020 – in which Tristan Tate appears to say he does not want the women on sites like PornHub and OnlyFans to have access to their accounts.

“I don't want them to have the passwords, I don't want them to have anything,” the transcripts say. It says: “I don't want to tell them that they have OnlyFans, I want that money to be used by me and you, screw them."

In other transcribed messages that prosecutors say took place between one alleged victim and Andrew Tate over several weeks, Tate appears to mix talk of love and marriage with what seem to be orders, threats, references to rape, or insults.

Another part of the transcript reads: “Mainly I'm going to slave these b****** […] I'm going to make them work even more hours and hours and hours.. I work these b****** like slaves […] SLAVE work. Minimum 10 or 12 hours a day.”

The BBC said some of the messages may originally have been written or recorded in English, then translated into Romanian by prosecutors and re-translated back into English by the BBC. The broadcaster said it could not verify whether the messages had been accurately transcribed, because the original evidence was not included in the summary document.

In a TV interview earlier this year, Tate strongly denied exploiting or manipulating any women, saying he had "never hurt anybody" and claiming the case against him was "completely and utterly fabricated".

In response to request for a comment from the BBC, a spokeswoman for the Tate brothers vehemently denied the claims and said there was "substantial evidence pointing to their innocence".
