Marmite sues over use of jar in BNP ad
MARMITE has launched legal action against the BNP after it used a jar in an election broadcast without permission.
The jar appeared next to the slogan: "Love Britain, vote BNP." The BNP had been angered by a Marmite advert featuring the "Hate party" which it claimed was based on them. However, it denied intentionally using the jar, claiming a "joker" had amended the advert.
