Legal experts re-appointed
TWO Edinburgh legal experts have been re-appointed to Scotland's top appeals body for reviewing miscarriages of justice.
Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill announced Sir Gerald Gordon CBE QC will sit on the Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission for another year.
Sir Gerald, a former High Court judge and Edinburgh University Scots law professor, has been a member of the SCCRC since it was formed in 1999.
Graham Clark Bell QC, an experienced Appeal Court advocate, has been re-appointed for another four years.
