General Election 2010: Clegg finds TV soaps a turn-off
DESPITE winning the first "political X-Factor" last week, Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg is apparently not a fan of the real thing.
In an interview with the Radio Times, he suggests he does not have a view on Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole et al.
In fact, for a man chasing the popular vote, he lacks a populist touch – admitting he is not a fan of either Coronation Street or EastEnders. His preferences appear to be more highbrow; he lists "a bit of rousing opera, Rachmaninov or Johnny Cash".
