ERIC Joyce current MP for Falkirk who triggered selection battle after being leaving the party following his conviction for assaulting Tories at a House of Commons bar.

Karie Murphy was the front-runner to replace Joyce as MP for Falkirk and Unite’s preferred candidate until she was suspended by Labour when party headquarters took over running the selection procedure amid suggestions that it had been rigged.
