THE most controversial of the new Scottish entries to Who’s Who is Bill Walker, the MSP who was expelled from the SNP over allegations of domestic abuse.
In July, he appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on 15 charges of simple assault, 13 of assault to injury and one of assault to injury and permanent disfigurement, before being bailed to appear at a future date. The offences are alleged to have taken place between 1967 and the late 1980s.
In his Who’s Who entry, Mr Walker, 71, makes no mention of his four marriages.
A Scottish Conservative spokesman said: “Most right-thinking Scots would regard those appearing in this prestigious title as someone who is well known for all the right reasons.”
Mr Walker now sits in the parliament as an independent.
