Charity seeks opinions of city's families
EXPERTS conducting a national inquiry into family life were visiting Edinburgh today to hear from organisations and families about the pressures they face.
The 18-month inquiry, run by national children's charity 4Children and chaired by Esther Rantzen, is seeking to consult with more than 10,000 families.
Ms Rantzen said: "We need the help of experts, frontline workers, parents and children to ensure we get our priorities right and campaign for issues that really matter."
Anne Longfield, chief executive of 4Children, said: "We want to hear about the challenges and priorities of local people across a range of issues from health support to help with caring for older relatives and enlist their help in finding the solutions."
