CBI cautions on timing
THE eventual withdrawal of government support for the economy must be handled carefully to ensure sustainable growth, the head of the CBI warned yesterday.
Director-general Richard Lambert said the UK economy was "undergoing a massive course of steroids", with 40 billion invested in RBS and Lloyds banks alone. "Whoever wins the next election will face some painful choices," he said.
