Alex Salmond visits gardens show

FIRST Minister Alex Salmond was today visiting the opening day of the Gardening Scotland 2010 exhibition at the Royal Highland Centre at Ingliston.

The gardening and outdoor living show brings together almost 400 exhibitors including garden designers and plant growers from across the UK.

The three-day event is expected to attract around 35,000 visitors to the show gardens, the floral hall and the Beechgrove Theatre.
