40 protest at BBC over BNP broadcast
ABOUT 40 demonstrators turned up outside the BBC's Broadcasting House in London to register their opposition to the British National Party's televised message to voters.
The five-minute party election broadcast was shown on BBC1 shortly before 7pm, as protesters chanted anti-BNP slogans. The BBC said it had to treat all parties impartially.
