Police searching for missing Bonnyrigg man find body in woodland

POLICE searching for a missing man have found a body in woodland near to his Midlothian home.

• Police searching for missing man Greg Stevens have found a body near his home

• Stevens was last seen in Harmony area of Bonnyrigg at around 8.30am

The body was discovered in Birky Wood, near Crichton Castle, just after 11am.

Officers were searching for 22-year-old Greg Stevens, who vanished from his home in Bonnyrigg yesterday morning.

Formal identification of the body is yet to take place, however police say there appear to be no suspicious circumstances.
