Police probe ‘suspicious’ death as man’s body found

POLICE are investigating after the body of man was discovered inside a property in the Capital.

The man was found at a block of flats at Hawkhill Close, off Lochend Road, around 8.15pm last night.

A police spokesman said: “At this time inquiries are at an early stage. However the man’s death is being treated as suspicious.

“A cordon is in place around the building while inquiries take place at the scene, and police are appealing to anyone who was in the area of Hawkhill Close yesterday evening.”
