The altercation started around 5.30pm yesterday, beginning in Woodbush, continuing in Victoria Street and concluding in Church Street.

It involved two groups who had been in at least two cars, one of which was damaged.

“Officers will be today patrolling the area in order to reassure the local community and we would urge any witnesses, or anyone with further information about this incident, to get in touch.”
