AN elderly woman who was knocked down and killed by a bin lorry has been named by police.

Moira McKeeman, 86, was crossing Morningside Road using a zimmer frame when she was struck on Sunday.

Police are keen to trace a “visibly upset” man who was standing outside Stefanos chip shop and another who crossed the road just before the collision.

They also want to speak to an elderly couple, including a woman wearing a fur hat, spotted outside the Brother Barbers shop.
