Police hunt missing man

POLICE are appealing for information to help locate a missing Edinburgh man.

Barry McVicar Wyllie was last seen at his home address in Boswell Loan around 8:30am on Wednesday (17 March).

The 33-year-old has not returned home since and concern is now growing for his welfare.

He is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall with a slim build, blue eyes, short light-brown hair, clean-shaven and a fair complexion. He was last seen wearing a short black casual jacket, blue jeans and white and blue Reebok trainers.

Mr Wyllie is also known to visit various other areas around Scotland and police are now appealing for anyone who may have information that can assist in locating Mr Wyllie to come forward.

A police spokesman said: "Mr Wyllie's family have not seen, nor heard from him since Wednesday morning and as such we are eager to find him and reunite him with his relatives as soon as possible.

"Anyone who knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately."
