CONCERN was today growing for a man who has been missing from his home in Angus since last Friday.

Ian Low, 59, was last seen at his home in Ferry Street, Montrose, at noon on Friday.

And the Tayside Division of Police Scotland said today that the force was becoming “extremely concerned” for his welfare.

A force spokesman said: “Police Scotland are requesting the assistance of the public in an attempt to trace Ian Low, who resides in Ferry Street Montrose. Ian is described as being approximately 5ft 9 in height, of slim build with short greying hair. He is the owner of a silver coloured rover motor vehicle.

“Ian has not been seen since 12 noon on Friday, 2 August, and police are becoming extremely concerned with regards to his welfare. Any sightings of Ian or his vehicle, or any other information which may help in tracing Ian can be reported to Police Scotland via telephone number 101 or to any local police station.”
