Poetry to hit write note in library festival

POETRY celebrating Edinburgh and Glasgow is to be performed in the Capital.

"Tales of Two Cities", featuring work from poets including Hamish Whyte, James McGonigal and the first city Makar Stewart Conn, will take place as part of the Edinburgh City Libraries' Festival of Scottish Writing on May 16.

The festival will also feature an event on May 18, which will see poet Thomas A Clark read a selection of poems.
