Have your say

Your reasoned comments (editorial, 2 April) on the SNP and Labour’s strategies during this election campaign are sound common sense in that those Labour voters who have deserted and turned to the SNP are unlikely to return through economic arguments.

It really is as simple as the SNP having stolen Labour’s clothes.

For generations Labour bribed the feckless with jam without labour and the SNP have taken that role.

So those easily blinded by money-for-nothing promises have found a new golden goose so why should they return to the tarnished old scrubby hen?

Only time will prove the SNP are the same old story-telling politicians. Plus ça change.
