Plans lodged for Loch Ness centre
A £2 MILLION plan to provide new visitor facilities on Loch Ness has been lodged with Highland Council.
The operators of the Loch Ness Exhibition Centre at Drumnadrochit are seeking to improve Brackla Harbour with new jetties and moorings for small craft, and provide retail and catering services.
Managing director Robert Bremner anticipates that ten jobs will be created initially, rising to between 30 and 40 at the peak of the tourist season.
Mr Bremner said: "It will enhance existing visitor amenities in a safe and attractive manner."
