Photo boost in cancer treatment
A NEW way of diagnosing skin cancer, using digital photography, has cut waiting times dramatically.
Under a pilot scheme at NHS Forth Valley, patients with suspicious moles have them photographed, rather than being referred directly to a specialist, cutting the time from diagnosis to treatment from months to days.
