Peter Pan still soaring on stage

I WOULD like to express my concern at the montage of photos which appeared in Scotland on Sunday on December 7 ('Christmas is cancelled'), where the star of our panto, Keith Jack as Peter Pan, appeared with the word 'scrapped' across his chest.

I understand the story referred to the free panto tickets given out by Aberdeen City Council, but Peter Pan was not specifically mentioned in the text, and some readers may have gained the impression that Peter Pan had been scrapped. Far from being scrapped, the panto is a huge hit and ticket sales broke all previous records BEFORE the curtain rose on the first performance – for the second year running.

It's particularly unfortunate as Aberdeen Performing Arts, as a company, has this year given away more than 500 free tickets to Peter Pan to local groups, charities and worthy causes.
